Box 7-12 Struck for a "Fully Involved" Structure Fire
April 26th - At 1:35 pm, Station 7, as well as other companies, was alerted for a fully involved structure fire at 11447 Spring Ave, Village of Allenport, Shirley Township, Huntingdon County. Q7, E7, R7 and Amb. 702 responded. E7 with Chief-7 arrived on scene with a 2 story dwelling heavily involved with fire on the bravo side. Orders were given for Q7 to take the alpha side behind E7 and MC E26 was to lay 5" supply into Q7 and E7. E20 was given orders to lay a 2nd 5" supply to the bravo side. E7 crew made the initial interior attack to find the attic area well involved. MC E26 crew took the exterior on the bravo side.
Mutual aid companies included Newton-Wayne, Mill Creek, Orbisonia, McVeytown, Three Springs, McConnellstown, Mapleton and Shade Gap. A special thanks to Mifflin County Truck 1-1 (Burnham) for handling the transfer assignment. |
