7-20 Box struck for working barn fire
June 13th - At 18:00, a 7-20 box was struck for a working barn fire in the area of 15000 Croghen Pike (Rt. 522 south), Shirley Township, Huntingdon County. E7, R7, Amb. 701 and 703 responded. The box also included MCE26, MCT26, E20, T20, E9, E2, E12, T12, T6 and Trk5. E7 went on scene with a fully involved barn. A supply line was ordered to the Aughwick creek as well as a backup tanker shuttle from the industrial park. E9 laid 5" to the creek and E2 established the fill site at the industrial park with E20 supplying from the portable tanks. A defensive operation was established as well as exposure protection of the residence and vehicles.

Wires down in the Borough
June 8th - At 20:00, Station7 was alerted for wires down in the area of Jones Street, Mount Union Borough. E7 responded and handled until Penelec arrived on scene. |
Transfer to MC Station 18
June 12th - At 10:03, Station7 was alerted to transfer a single engine to MC Station 18. E7 transferred with a full crew. Unit was back in service at 12:21. |
Minor accident at Weis Store
June 12th - At 16:26, Station7 was alerted for auto accident with minor to no injuries in the area of the Weis Store on East Shirley Street. Captain7 went on scene and found both vehicles in the parking lot with no injuries. Fire and EMS units were placed available prior to responding. |
E7 second due on 5 box for a structure fire
June 4th - At 02:04, Station7 was alerted for a single engine on the second alarm for a 5 box in Huntingdon Borough. E7 responded with a full crew. Unit and personnel were staged on 5th street until being released. Unit was back in service at 05:44. |
E7 due on 20-25 box for a barn fire
June 4th - Upon being released by command 5, E7, as well as many other units, was alerted for a barn fire on the 20-25 in Brady Township, Huntingdon County. E7 responded and arrived on scene with MC E25. Problem was found to be electrical in nature and all units were placed available. E7 was back in service at 05:44. |
Assist MC26 with pole fire
June 2nd - At 15:59, Station7 was alerted for a single engine to assist MC26 with a pole fire on Big Green Briar Road, Wayne Township, Mifflin County. E7 responded with a full crew and was placed available prior to arriving on scene. Unit was back in service at 16:24. |
Assist Co.2 with auto accident in narrows
June3rd - At 06:24, Station7 was alerted for an auto accident on Rt. 22 east of Mapleton. R7 and Amb. 702 responded. Units arrived on scene to find a single vehicle rollover into a telephone pole. No rescue was needed and patient was transported to JC Blair Hospital. Units were back in service at 06:53. |
Overturned Boat on Route 22
June 1st - At 18:21, Station7 was alerted for an overturned boat at the Route 22 and 522 intersection. R7 and Amb. 701 along with MC26 responded. Units arrived on scene to find a house boat on its side. Several attempts were made to limit the damage during uprighting of the boat, including airbag and cribbing training. Units were back in service at 20:13. |
Assist Co.9 with automatic alarm
June 1st - At 11:28, Station7 was alerted for a single engine to assist Co. 9 for an automatic alarm sounding at the Shirley Home for the Aged in Shirleysburg, Huntingdon County. E7 responded with a full crew. Accidental trip was found to be the issue. Unit was back in service at 12:11. |
