Jeremy and Ashley tie the knot!
July 29th - At 15:50 Firefighter/EMS Lieutenant Jeremy Baker and Ambulance Associate Ashley Boozel tied the knot.
The newlyweds were escorted to the station by Rescue7 where they were greeted by numerous family and department members.
An evening of festivities followed.

Vehicle into residence July 24th - At 21:12, Station 7 was alerted for a vehicle into a residence on Morgan Street in the Borough of Mount Union. R7, E7, Amb 702 and Amb 703 responded. In route, units were advised by Borough PD that there were no occupants in the vehicle. With the approval of the PD, owner self extricated vehicle from the residence with minimal damage. Units were back in service at 21:36. |

Grant $Dollars$ awarded to Station 7
July 21st - MUFD was notified that our application for the 2005-06 Volunteer Fire Company, Volunteer Ambulance Service Grant Program was approved and we would be receiving $ 9,500. The grant funds will be used to purchase a TIC (thermal imagining camera) for Quint7 and also to start our 5" LDH (large diameter hose) replacement program. |

Transfer Assignment
July 15th - At 08:29, Station 7 requested to transfer a single engine to Company 20 quarters. Their Engine and Tanker was first due on a 1-3 box for a barn fire. E7 responded with crew of 5. Back in service at 09:46. |
Early morning rollover July 13th - At 04:15, Station 7 was dispatched for an auto accident with rollover on Rt. 522 in the area of the bypass. R7 and Amb 702 responded. Units found a single pickup over the embankment. Driver was self extricated. Units were back in service at 05:52. |
Cleaning up storm damage July 12th - At 18:09, Station 7 requested to assist with a tree on the roadway on Rt. 103 South in Shirley Township. E7 responded with a crew of 6 and with the assistance of the chief, cleared the roadway. Unit was back in service at 19:25. |

4 Wheeler Fire - July 10th - At 18:04, Station 7 was alerted for a 4 wheeler fire in Hartman Village in the Borough of Mount Union. Q7, E7 and Amb 702 responded. As units where responding MUPD advised communications that the fire had been extinguished. Units arrived on scene to assist with cleanup. Back in service at 18:30. |
Auto accident - July 3rd - At 07:56, Station 7 alert to assist Mifflin County Co. 26 with an auto accident on Little Greenbrier Road, Wayne Township, Mifflin County. R7, Amb 701 and 702 responded. Upon arriving on scene R7 was advised that no services were needed. Units were back in service at 08:28. |

Another auto fire threatening a structure ! July 1st - Station 7 alerted for an automobile fire threatening a structure on Pennsylvania Ave in the Borough of Mount Union. Q7 and 701 responded. Resident was grinding screw in cab and caught fire to the interior. Fire extinguished with garden hose prior to fire department arrival. |

Wake up to a working auto fire threatening a structure ! June 30th - 06:59 - Station 7 alerted for a working auto fire threatening a structure at Centre Business Products on Route 522 South. Q7, E7 and Amb 701 responded. Upon arrival Q7 advised county of a working van fire, no structure involved. Units back in service at 07:45. |

Auto rollover with fly out June 24th - 22:28 - Upon returning from the county convention - Co7 units were alerted for an auto accident, single vehicle with rollover on Wrangletown Road. R7 responded from station with E7, Q7, Amb 701 and 702 responding from the convention. Upon EMS arrival on scene, a fly out was requested, E7 and Q7 were directed to setup LZ.
Air medical was then diverted to helipad at J C Blair Hospital.
Units back in service at 23:29 |
